Good afternoon everyone,

Perhaps a strange question..... I have just received my new shiny replacement relay board cover. It obviously requires a technique to fit it nicely.

Before I break it, is it necessary to remove the voltage regulator before it will slip into position? It does seem to be a very tight fit against the rear cabin bulkhead.

Very many thanks in advance,

Tony

There is 2 styles.. If you have retractable seat belts you need the one with a slope on the front, to allow it to slide down onto relay board..

Early and late.

It is not needed to remove the voltage regulator to install the cover.
The late style cover works on all years. The early cover onlyvworks on cars with fixed seat belts.

Very many thanks to everyone, it appears that I have an early cover.... what a pain. It was the only one advertised.

I can't afford to keep paying the FedEx pension fund! I will try and modify the early one.

Any tips would be welcome.
